Bring a Smile to a Child

Hunger and malnutrition is a serious case in India as the World Bank has estimated that 60 million children are underweight. Moreover, as per UNICEF reports, more than 80 million students leave going to school before 8 years of age whereas 8 million children are out of school.  There is an alarming need for us to focus on the nutrition and education of the children of our country.  Providing mid-day meals facility in schools will motivate parents to send their children to school which will, in turn, help them get an education and therefore, builds a healthy and educated nation in the future.

Reequil CSR

Akshaya Patra Foundation is a Non-Profit Organisation which aims at implementing Mid-day Meal Scheme in government schools and government-aided schools to eliminate classroom hunger.  The foundation helps the country by providing fresh meals to children on school days and brings a smile to every child.  As a part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, we take great pride in doing our bit by contributing to the Akshaya Patra Foundation. We support its aim to counter malnutrition and support the right to education of socio-economically disadvantaged children.  Whenever you buy any Re’equil product, a part of it goes to the Akshaya Patra Foundation which helps in buying a mid-day meal for a child. A mid-day meal is a great encouragement for poor families to send their children to school. So, every product you buy not only builds a child’s health but also builds a nation. Bringing a smile to a child is the best way to help our nation while helping ourselves.
